Congratulation to Kyle Malcolmson

Massive well done to Fallin boy Kyle Malcolmson representing Scotland in the under 18s at the bowls international.Brought home silverware coming in 2nd place!

We are all so proud of you

Congratulation to Kyle Paton

Let’s give a massive round of applause to Kyle Paton, who has just completed an incredible challenge — running or walking 5K every single day for 75 days straight! 💪👏

Kyle has raised over £800 for Brothers in Arms, a men’s mental health charity doing vital work. Today marked Day 75, and what an achievement it is!

This September, me, Ally, Murray, and Robbie will be swapping the running shoes for kilts as we take on the Edinburgh Kiltwalk — a 20-mile walk through the city — all in support of Brothers in Arms, a men’s mental health charity.

Earlier this year, I took on the challenge of doing 5Ks for 75 days and raised over £1,200 for the same cause. Along the way, Ally, Murray, and Robbie joined me for some of those runs — and now, we’re teaming up again to keep the momentum going.

Brothers in Arms provides free mental health support for men across Scotland, helping break the stigma and reach those who need it most.

If you’re able to support us, no matter the amount, we’d be incredibly grateful. Every step we take is for someone who might be struggling in silence.

Congratulation to Robert Wood

It was a landslide, thoroughly deserved win for Robert Wood, who we all know works tirelessly, in all weathers, to keep our village streets clean and tidy

Delighted he joined us at the Church Hall today to collect his cash prize and Community Hero trophy

Congratulation to Fallin Community Voice

Thanks so much to all who nominated Fallin Community Voice too! We were honoured to be shortlisted as finalists in the Best Community Group category and had an absolute blast hearing so many heartwarming stories of kindhearted people doing fantastic things across the central belt.

Really brought home what a generally good bunch the Scots really are

Congratulation to Jessica Allan

As I head home to Scotland after representing Great Britain at Teen Universe, I do so with my head held high and my heart full of gratitude. Although I didn’t get the result i dreamed of, the experience has been nothing short of incredible—meeting inspiring young women from all over the world, embracing new cultures, and proudly wearing the GB sash on an international stage. This journey has taught me so much about resilience, self-belief, and the importance of staying true to yourself. I may be coming home without a crown, but I’m bringing back memories, growth, and a fire in my soul to keep striving and shining.

As I bring my pageant journey to a pause, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your continuous love and support over the years. From the very beginning, through every high and low, your encouragement has meant more to me than words can express. Whether you’ve cheered me on from the sidelines, sent kind messages, or believed in me when I needed it most—you’ve all played a part in this incredible chapter of my life. I’ll forever be grateful for the memories, the growth, and the friendships I’ve gained along the way. This may not be the end of my pageant journey as i know i still have so much more to achieve, but the lessons and love I’ve received will stay with me always.

Thank you to my amazing mum and my family for making this possible and getting me to punta cana no matter the circumstances. Love you Guys❤️

Congratulation to Angie Cumming

Huge congratulations to Fallin’s wonderful Angie Cumming for scooping a thoroughly deserved Carer of the Year award at Friday’s 103.1 Central FM Local Hero Awards. Great to see her efforts and kindness recognised in this way

Congratulation to Wullie Rattray

🏆 Congratulations to Wullie Rattray and His Champion Whippets! 🐾

Many of you will recognise Wullie  from around the village, often seen walking his four whippets. While his two girls are now enjoying a well-earned retirement from racing, his two boys are still going strong — and achieving incredible things!

This past Saturday, Wullie’s dogs competed in the British Championships at the Scottish Thistle Pedigree Whippet Racing Club. His youngest, Cooper, ran a brilliant race and finished 2nd in his final — a fantastic achievement!

But the star of the show was Broxi, who stormed through his heat, semi-final, and final to be crowned British Champion for the THIRD time! 🏅🐶

Here’s a great photo of Wullie, his grandson Kyle, and the main man himself — Broxi. A huge well done to Wullie and his incredible dogs — what a proud moment for our local community!
