In our first year or so of operating as a charity, Fallin Community Voice partnered with Polmaise Community Council, Stirling Council and others to organise a range of different events, including Easter and Summer fun days, and – for the first time ever – a Christmas Lights switch on!
At least 500 folk attended one or more of these events. The community rallied at Bingo Nights etc. to fund them almost entirely from individual donations – which, as a level of grassroots fundraising many other charities only dream of, Fallin Community Voice is incredibly grateful for! Arnold Clark also get a special mention for their financial support with the Christmas Lights for 2022, thank you!

We also partnered with the community council to deliver weekly Grub Hub nights at the Alpha Centre November – March. These well attended nights brought a great atmosphere, lots of blethering, laughs, games, hearty grub and all round good fun!

It’s been an absolute joy reflecting on our first year or so working as Fallin Community Voice. Despite the stresses that COVID-19 & the cost of living crisis have brought to us all, the strength of community spirit in this village clearly helped get many of us through – and has obviously brought people closer. Thanks to all of you for your continued support!
