Community Hero Competition
We have always been inspired by local residence of Fallin that go above and beyond. Therefore Fallin Community Voice to launch a Fallin-focused Local Hero Award, and we’re inviting you to nominate anyone in the village you think deserves to be recognised for their wonderful service to the community.
To enter someone, please email fallincv@gmail.com telling us why you think they deserve to win.
Nominations will close 1st November 2025 and the winner will be announced a few weeks later at the Christmas Lights Switch On.
Our winner will receive a prize worth £100 – and there’ll be something for the person who nominated them too.
Exclusions: nominations will only be accepted for people resident in Fallin. And, much as we love it when you’re nice to us, nominations for Fallin Community Voice Trustees won’t be considered.
The winner of the 2025 Local Hero Competition was Laney McMeechan. Laney was nominated by the villagers for her outstanding commitment to the clubs she runs in Fallin. The Swinging 60’s and the Mothers and Toddlers Club. Congratulations Laney
